After years of corporate HR work, seeing the struggle to un-do histories of bad human capital management, Kit started her firm in 2009 to help growing businesses establish healthy cultures as a foundation for future success. Her mission is to help turn small businesses into great employers, offering strategic solutions to create high performance organizations while managing the risks associated with being an employer.
Kit has a Masters Degree in Business Administration and the Senior HR Professional Certification from HRCI.
Jeremy Turner is the Founder & Managing Director of EPIC Mission, a coaching and consulting firm for impact-driven entrepreneurs, nonprofits and small businesses. Jeremy has served in leadership roles for industry giants and grassroots startups within the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, including cofounding Huntington, WV’s first coworking space, CoWorks. He is a sought-after coach, consultant, speaker and trainer, and has consulted with many organizations on topics including board development, community needs assessment, corporate innovation, leadership development and strategic planning. Jeremy holds a BA in Psychology from Marshall University and an MBA from LSU-Shreveport and is an adjunct instructor of entrepreneurship at Marshall University where he serves on the board of advisors for both the Division of Marketing, MIS and Entrepreneurship and the Center for Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship (iCenter). Additionally, he is a DISC-Certified behavioral consultant and has earned the Entrepreneurship Center Management (ECM) Certificate from InBIA. These skills and experiences continue to prove valuable as EPIC Mission serves clients across the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Midwestern United States. His personal mantra is to serve others and those who serve others, and he looks forward to learning how EPIC Mission may be of service to you and those you know.
